Hello. Today I would like to tell you one exciting story from last winter.
There was a competition about making scarves called "Kaelakuti koos" (means huging eachother) in Estonia, in winter 2016/2017 edition of a local handicraft magazin "käsitöö" .
And I participated!
The cover and the article about the competition you can see here. There middel-down is my scarf - on big photo my mother-in-law wearing the scarf and under it the little photo the "designer Heleri Klumpp":
The idea was that the scarf had to be made by yourself, technique you could choose freely - was it sewn, knitted, crocheted, felted, embroidered or combination of them, didn't matter.
I decided to crochet a Scandinavian style "rose scarf". I chose a yarn Drops Eskimo Uni Colour, hook size 6. The scarf itself was simple and classical but for the button I had unusual idea - a oversized 3-dimensional rose blossom.
And I think it came out great. Simple but special. I was happy.
The competition was public - everybody could participate. And in the end they chose out the 10 best scarves and they came to magazine.
And I was in TOP 10!!! Hurraa, I was so excited and proud.

 How do you like it?
